This 3D printed weaving kit allows you to learn how to weave and create weavings of 200x120mm. It comes with instructions and is available in several sizes, made to order with a preparation time of 4 working days.

The 3D printed structure is made from recycled PLA sourced from mussel shells, collected from restaurants in Normandy, France, and recycled into filament. The wool comes partly from Brussels sheep and is coloured using natural vegetable dyes: campeche bark for purple and birch bark for green. A fully sustainable, zero-waste 3D printed weaving kit made in Brussels.

A SUSTAINABLE 3D PRINTED WEAVING KIT

Every element of the Penelope 3D printed weaving kit is designed with sustainability in mind. The mussel shell PLA is a circular material that gives new life to shellfish waste. The Brussels sheep wool is local and the vegetable dyes are 100% natural. Wool waste and PLA reel ends are fully recovered – zero waste from start to finish.

PENELOPE FEATURES

3D printed weaving kit – collaboration Studio Minimetre x BlackWool Brussels

Structure in recycled mussel shell PLA from Normandy restaurants

Brussels sheep wool – natural vegetable dyes (purple, green)

Creates weavings of 200x120mm – comes with instructions

Available in several sizes – made to order, 4 working days

Zero waste – wool waste and PLA reel ends fully recovered

Perfect 100% Brussels gift idea

Discover our Pique-Epingle needle cushion, our Collaborations or our Biosourced PLA Objects. Contact us to order your Penelope weaving kit.

Penelope – 3D Printed Weaving Kit Brussels – Studio Minimetre x BlackWool PENELOPE – 3D PRINTED WEAVING KIT Penelope is a 3D printed weaving kit designed and produced in Brussels through a collaboration between Studio Minimetre and BlackWool.
