Each ceramic 3D printed design object is conceived digitally and brought to life through the controlled extrusion of stoneware clay – a technique that allows us to create forms impossible to achieve by hand, while preserving the texture and warmth of traditional ceramics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every ceramic 3D printed design object in our collection is unique. The layer-by-layer clay extrusion process leaves a distinctive surface texture that becomes part of the aesthetic – a visible mark of the fabrication process that makes each piece one of a kind. After printing, each object is kiln-fired in our Brussels studio and finished with a hand-applied glaze, adding colour, depth and durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ceramic 3D printing through clay extrusion is a process at the frontier of craft and digital fabrication. Our studio uses stoneware – a dense, durable clay fired at high temperatures – for its exceptional strength and its beautiful matte surface quality. The stoneware is loaded into our 3D printer and extruded layer by layer following a digital path, building the object from the ground up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Once printed, each ceramic 3D printed design object is left to dry slowly before being placed in the kiln for firing. The firing process transforms the raw clay into a solid, water-resistant ceramic. Each piece is then hand-glazed – a finishing step that adds colour and seals the surface. The glaze is applied by hand in our Brussels studio, making every object slightly different from the next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
